The Church of Heliana is a sect dedicated to worshipping the Misleading Goddess, Heliana the Capricious. Sa'hr realized that Oxtoth couldn't change and his enmity towards all life had poisoned the minds of both their sons Curath and Galean. When she learned that she was expecting a third child, she left Oxtoth and wished that she could raise one child that she could truly be proud of. She decided to keep it secret from Oxtoth that she was expecting another child. Later Heliana was born. Her brothers Curath and Galean had already left and her mother Sa'hr did not want her to be in contact with them nor did she tell her who her father was. While meaning to protect her daughter, Sa'hr unintentionally filled Heliana's mind with lies and false hopes making her believe that such actions are acceptable. Eventually when Sa'hr realized what she had done, she attempted to correct the mistakes she had made with her upbringing, but it proved to be too late. She had poisoned the mind of her only daughter, just like Oxtoth had done to her both sons.             

The church of Heliana is based on Heliana's teachings. The priests of Heliana worship information and do not see the world or life quite the way the others do. Meanwhile ordinary people see time and place equal as important factors in life, the priests of Heliana consider existence as the most important factor, and for them, time and place are factors that may be manipulated.

The guild concentrates on processing information and its manipulation. A very heavy emphasis is placed on visions and divinations. The priests of Heliana learn to mislead masses which is seen as a form of manipulation. While priests of Heliana are able to manipulate people, they are also very capable of manipulating elements.

The priests of Heliana use a big portion of their time in teaching the followers and attempting to recruit new members to the religion. The priests of Heliana are usually great orators and are able to influence masses with their speeches. The priests of Heliana are more dependent on other people than the priests of Burglefloogah and best serve their goddess by passing information to the next generations.
