Subject: News from the Quackdom...

Though the Quackdom tends toward the hierarchical, a social experiment
was launched some years ago by a group of intrepid ducks. A recently
discovered path on an island in the Feathersea leads to this
experiment, the Commune of the Feathersea. As one would expect many
ducks live and work together in the Commune for the greater good, but
inevitably it is not always easy fishing and happy paddling.

Subject: Happenings in the Commune
Date: June, 17 2021
In the forest south of the gates into the hamlet in the Commune of
the Feathersea a new path has been found. A petrified tree was
reporting in the forest among the larch and spruce trees, perhaps
someone of interest lives inside?
This area contains three AQs Reunite the Founders, Nature Walk, and
Aid the Duck Alchemist.

Subject: A new place to drink

Bar Archipelago has just opened and has ambitions to be the premiere
destination in the tropics on Lucentium. See hula dancers and the deep water
aquariums. Order a drink from Vic and see what he needs help with but beware:
pirates arr plentiful in the tropics.
The area contains LQ 68 A Pirate's Vengeance and an AQ Tiki Bar Makeover.

Subject: Snow Elf Workshop

Far to the north, away from the concerns of the Archduchy, and beyond
the areas claimed by the Clans of Kharim, the Snow Elf Workshop and
Toy Foundry is open for business. Or it would be furiously cranking
out toys aplenty if some mischief hadn't befallen it. Seek out the
workshop in the frigid and icy north of Rothikgen. Yule find it in the
tundra but nestled in a tiny patch of eternally snow covered
forest. If you visit perhaps you can save just a bit of the Christmas
magic before it is lost.
The area contains two AQs, Snow Elf Workshop and Extirpate the Ice
Ogress. While I hope that all players will enjoy this area it is
primarily aimed at players of low to middle levels of experience and
power.
No ducks were harmed in the making of this area.

The machinery has been polished and the gears sharpened. The Clock
Tower in Arelium has been recoded. The area remains newbie
friendly and now sports an eponymously named quest. The original area
was coded somewhere around 1993 by Blowfish and Badger. Kudos to Ggr
for ideas and insights.
